News today
{ Posted by Marist Pailin on March 24, 2010 }It has been a while since I posted any news. Since Champagnat day we have been working in the Marist Education Centre teaching young Cambodians English and giving them access to Computers and our small library. The centre has proved to be very popular and many children and young people are coming on a daily basis to learn. We are thankful to the students in Marist Schools in Germany for their financial support of this project. We have been able to purchase 9 second hand computers and some books for our library as well as some tables and chairs for the centre. We have now welcomed two new Brothers to Cambodia, Brothers Max and Pedro come from Argentina and are now settling into life in Phnom Penh. We have also been visited by Br Luis Sobrado from Rome and by Brother John McMahon from Melbourne on his way through to Rome for the General Chapter.
